Here I show you an abstract picture in blue-turquoise tones. I worked with the spatula and brush.

This technique is also suitable for beginners. You see in the video how I work it out. You can do it the same way or completely different. Use your colors.

Technology:
I primed the canvas with a homemade paste. See links below. After the surface is dry, I start with a first coat of paint. This is just to see the color, how the color reacts to the canvas, what the color does to the structure.
I roughly apply the paint with the brush. Then I take the dry bristle brush and paint over the color. This creates soft transitions. The brush strokes disappear from the job. Batches can be wiped off with a dry or wet cloth. It's the same technique as the Sky Cloud Sea videos. There, the technique is again explained exactly. It is also the same technique as in the videos on the slide (video foil:    • abstraktes Bild in Acryl, Aluminiumfo...   )
. The many layers of color create depths in the picture. These depths and heights make the picture interesting or express the picture. With only one or two layers of paint, the picture looks flat. You can not fathom it. It is quick to capture and therefore uninteresting. With the many layers of color the viewer begins to fathom the picture. The viewer wants to discover it. It also awakens his curiosity. And you have more fun painting;)
Pigments:
There were always questions about the pigments. I could not create a video yet. You see in the video but how I use pigments. I mix the color beforehand (pigments and acrylic binders) or I give the pigments in a finished acrylic paint or in a ready-mixed Arcylfarbe.

How did I get to the picture?
I just felt that way. No idea in the head. Let her dance on the screen. Dive a bit and let five be straight ... What happens to me when I paint? I discover the surfaces I like and use new ideas. This is a bit difficult, then I come from one to the next and want to paint everything and everything at once. I think then: ahh how nice, I have to do that as a whole picture ... that felt a hundred times in a picture. Then there is some confusion because I can only paint one picture. The good feeling can sometimes tip over and cause trouble. I have to push this aside and push it away, continue to paint and wait until the next one takes me to where I want to go. I do not know where to go. In the end, I have to like it.

I have taken colors:
Real blue, white, Parisian blue (dark blue), French ocher, turquoise (goes blue), azure green (turquoise goes green), black
