I wanted to upgrade my thermostat to one that could help me save energy and that was also able to be controlled remotely with my phone. I settled on the Google Nest Thermostat as the best solution for me, and I show you how to install one in this video. The steps to install the Google Nest Thermostat are fairly simple and straightforward, and the whole process can be completed in less than 30 minutes. These instructions are for the Google Nest Thermostat only, and not for the Nest Thermostat E, or the Nest Learning Thermostat. The only tools you'll need are a Phillips and a flat-head screwdriver, and the average homeowner will have no trouble doing the installation. I'm very happy with the Nest Thermostat and would highly recommend it. This is the Nest Thermostat 4th Generation that was first released in October 2020, Model G4CVZ.
