ABOVE NORMAL RAINFALL EXPECTED IN THE MID ATLANTIC STATES
The ensemble data is showing above normal rainfall is expected over the next two weeks especially in the red zone.
Image 2 shows the 7 day rainfall outlook where as much as 2-4” of rainfall is expected in parts of Kentucky, Tennessee, and the NC mountains. These aren’t all day rains but when it does rain it will put it down.
This pattern will likely cause below normal temps next week with a trough developing in east as you can see in image 3.
