Belmont Resources has discovered a 1.3 km Pegmatite Dyke on its Crackingstone Uranium project. Pegmatite is the rock associated with Rare Earth Elements (REE). The pegmatite was discovered after a recent review of the drill logs from a 2008 drill program which focused on uranium. At that time there was no interest in REE's and as such the pegmatite was never assayed. The 3,000 meters of drill core is still stored in Uranium City Northern Saskatchewan. Belmont plans on sending nearly 200m of pegmatite drill core for assaying for REEs.
