Pathfinder made a knock-off of the Swedish Stainless Steel Mess Kit.

In this video, you can see two original, around 80 years old, Mess kits.

Pathfinder uses 304 Stainless Steel. The Swedish ones are a higher grade with thicker walls. I will see if I can measure the gages of the pots and maybe find a test for chromium content.

Wildo Cup has the same dimension as the original issued cup.

Pathfinder Stainless burner has a similar size as the Swedish Army Brass amdbpathfinder weighs less than the brass one. I did not weigh them, but I can feel it.

The Pathfinder Molle bag is the perfect size for the mess kits and gives you a little more room than the Swedish m39 gas mask bag. it is made from polyester.

Weight:

Pathfinder pots, approximately, 1-1/4 pounds
Swedish pots, approximately - 1-7/8 pounds
Pathfinder Screen/stand, approx. - 3/4 pound
Swedish Screen/stand, approx. - 1/3 pound

Both kits with windscreen weigh approximately the same.

Dimensions on all are almost identical, and all accessories for any seem to work.

The Pathfinder set, in my opinion, is a good alternative based on the availability of the Swedish original sets. The pots are a thinner gauge, but that saves weight and is also less rugged. The Pathfinder Windscreen is a beast and tough, at the expense of 6-8 ounces extra weight.
