In this video I will be fitting up a couple of 8" 90 degree fittings for an 8" pipe bumper rail for a gravel parking lot. I will be stick welding with 1/8th 8010 and 5/32 7010 also known as "hippy" rod. We got our fittings from Fechner Supply in Cushing, Ok. And I got my welding rod from American Welding Supply there in Cushing as well. I also had to bevel every single joint of pipe with my Mathey Dearman pipe beveling machine. All of the pipe we had was all "structural" versus "Tested" pipe and non of it was beveled. I will also be sharing a pipe fabrication tip/ trick that will help you stand out in the pipe fabrication world.
