Susan Harrison on stage at 3 PM at Bob's Barn Jams 4 28 24. This is before the regular 4:30 to 7 PM Open Mic Jam.

Song slinger Susan Harrison’s (Bluesy Suzy) music invites you to join her on a musical nostalgia trip as she weaves her award-winning original songs with familiar favorites while accompanying herself on guitar, ukulele, and percussion. You’ll hear songs from her many CD’s, books, and other creative projects. Suzy has been singing ever since her Aunt Florence’s talented dog Buddy confirmed her ability when he joined her in song under the dining room table at three. Her first guitar was a ruler with rubber bands, and she continues to stretch her musical elasticity. Her music is more than blues and joy, there are shades of purple and hues of turquoise. Sweet and sassy, soulful, clever and fun. Harrison recognizes the healing power of music, understanding life is about the bitter and the sweet. She explores the dark corners of life and the view from the top of the Ferris wheel; thought provoking and playful. As the founder of Palamazoo puppet and music she draws her theatrical stylings from many of the creative arts. Her music combines roots music, folk, blues, swing and jazz into a soulful memorable experience.
