Our Dodge 5.9 Cummins is falling apart. We acquired this 2001 Dodge Ram 24v diesel from a family member. Little did we know that the exhaust was barely hanging on. Well the tailpipe fell off due to rust so I’m going to save this exhaust by Mig welding using Tig filler rod. After closer inspection of the exhaust we noticed several holes. These holes were caused by the hangers failing from rusting through. If you have had problems before welding a hole closed before maybe this will work.
