Unity have released their annual Gaming Report for 2024 at GDC 2024, a break down of trends in the world of game development. The data is acquired from their back end systems ( Unity Ads, IronSource, CloudOPS, etc ) combined with data from several polls and surveys. The report gives insights into trends in the world of game development, but obviously the audience is very Unity-centric by the nature of the data.

This report surveys several topics such as AI usage, single vs multiplayer game development, prototyping duration and much more.
