Hyundai Motor Group's premium brand, Genesis, is officially coming for the Range Rover, BMW X7 and Mercedes-Benz GLS, with it revealing a concept for an all-new upper-large SUV, dubbed Neolun, at the 2024 New York motor show.

The Neolun concept is the precursor to an upcoming series-production model, which is expected to be named GV90. As such, it will sit above the small GV60, mid-size GV70 and large GV80 in Genesis' expanding SUV line-up. In fact, will the South Korean marque's flagship vehicle, taking over responsibilities from the G90 limousine.

In this walkaround preview, CarsGuide Contributing Journalist Stephen Ottley gets up close and personal with the Genesis Neolun concept in New York City, covering off exactly what to expect from the expected GV90, including the fully electric vehicle (EV) platform it's expected to share with the Kia EV9 and Hyundai Ioniq 7.
