Where can you camp for free in the summer and also have it cool enough you can stay comfortable without air conditioning? If you're a snowbird, it's very easy, In this video we look ar high-elevation areas in National Forests where the temperatures will be acceptable all summer. The key thing is to be above 6000 feet as a minimum and more than 7500 is far better. Above 9000 feet guarantees a very pleasant summer with low temperatures.
