You buy an FrSky transmitter to avoid failsafe. Yet, despite your best planning they can still happen. I've personally seen a 2 meter warbird fly through a pit doing a knife edge because it was set to "hold" and this was the last command. (BTW, it wasn't with an FrSky transmitter). Thankfully, nobody got hurt.

We do fly very large, very expensive, and also very dangerous planes. Above everything else we want you to keep people and property safe. It doesn't matter how much your plane costs, people's safety, and their property are our primary concern. Depending on your plane you can get a few seconds of Devine intervention, enough to get radio control back on your plane. Or if you fly turbine jets you will create a nice expensive creator in the ground, away from larger issues of liability.

This video covers some not well documented topics, and give you an understanding how to create a custom failsafe that is suitable to your plane and desired outcome. This is a topic well worth exploring at least once.
