Following the Tito / Stalin break up or the Yugoslavia / Soviet Union Split, Yugoslavia turned the USA and other NATO countries for military equipment and aircraft. They were able to acquire a large amount during the MDAP (major defense acquisition program). During which they obtained these F84 G Thunderjets (successor to the P47 Thunderbolt) and this C47. We explored this interesting abandoned example of unique aviation history.
