Writers Guild of America West Vice President Michele Mulroney and WGAW Secretary-Treasurer Betsy Thomas present the 2024 Morgan Cox Award to 2023 WGA Negotiating Committee Co-Chairs Chris Keyser and David A. Goodman in recognition of outstanding services to the Guild for their leadership through the 2023 MBA negotiations and 148-day strike.

The Morgan Cox Award honors WGAW members whose vital ideas, continuing efforts, and personal sacrifice best exemplify the ideal of service to the Guild. During his lifetime, Cox devoted his professional career to serving the Guild, working to ensure television writers were included under WGA jurisdiction.

The 2024 Writers Guild Awards L.A. show was hosted by Emmy Award-winning actor Niecy Nash-Betts (Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story) on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at the Hollywood Palladium.
