In this video, we explain the concept of riba in Islam, its different types and why it is prohibited in Islam. Riba is an unjustified increment in borrowing or lending money, paid in kind or in money above the amount of loan, as a condition imposed by the lender or voluntarily by the borrower. We also explain how riba is different from other forms of interest and how it is applied in the context of Islamic banking and finance.
