A recent leak from TheLeak has indicated Uncharted is getting a reboot on PS5, and will be developed by a new studio instead of Naughty Dog. Of course, this isn't the first time we've heard about this. Rumors keep appearing every few months, and they're all pointing to the same thing. Back in 2021, it was already reported by Jason Schreier that Sony Bend had been assigned to work on the future of the franchise, but that they were eventually taken off the project. As much as I care for this series, and think Uncharted 4 ended Nathan Drake's story perfectly, I've always been realistic about Uncharted 5 : there isn't a doubt in my mind either that it will eventually happen. In this video, I discuss my thoughts on the news and go over all the potential story directions for a sequel. From a follow-up to The Lost Legacy with Chloe & Nadine, a spin-off with Sam & Sully, a Nathan Drake Prequel, or a Cassie future saga. I hope you'll enjoy the video!
