The documentary that inspired the Netflix hit film "The Society of Snow: WhoWe Were on the Mountain?". Carlos Paez, 18 years old, is the protagonist of the most shocking aeronautical tragedy in history, together with other companions, they feed on corpses in order to survive. The rugby club Old Christian from Uruguay, rents a flight to Chile to play a friendly match, the plane crashes in the Andes Mountains at an altitude of 3600 metres and temperatures as low as minus 25 degrees Celsius. Of the 45 people on board, 16 manage to live for 72 days sheltered in the remains of the fuselage. Carlos, 64 years old, returns to the site of the accident, with his children and grandchildren, as a way of thanking and paying tribute to those left behind in The Valley of Tears.
