This is a section of the Grand Canyon closed of to private vehicles March through November. Only way to access it is by foot, bike or tram. Some of the vista points are Trail Overlook, Maricopa Point, Powell Point, Hopi Point, Mohave Point, The Abyss, Monument Creek Vista Point, Pima Point, and end of the line Hermits Rest. Great views with less people. We bicycled the road and enjoyed the safety of listed traffic. We also enjoyed the close encounter with a bull elk when driving through Grand Canyon Village.
