Zhijian Qian, PhD, a professor in the department of medicine at the University of Florida College of Medicine, studies the mechanisms that lead to the development of blood cancer with the goal of identifying novel targeted therapies for myeloid malignant diseases. Qian is the winner of the 2024 UF College of Medicine Outstanding Research Scientist Award in Basic or Translational Sciences.
