First view of the British Type 23 frigate HMS Somerset equipped with the new Naval Strike Missile anti-ship cruise missile armament. The Somerset is the first of a total of 11 Royal Navy warships to receive this more modern weapon as a replacement for the aging Harpoon anti-ship cruise missile. The stealthy cruise missiles give Royal Navy frigates and destroyers a modern anti-ship capability and a new ability to strike land targets.
