We are asking the most out of ourselves as possible. Yet we often neglect either our body or our mind by pushing through, not getting enough rest, sleep or eating the wrong things.
If we really want to get the most out of ourselves we need to start treating our body and mind as if it were a super car. The analogy I use comes from Michael Phelps who once said he managed to train for about 1500 days straight, because he treated his body like a Ferrari. If 1 bolt is lose, the car starts shaking, leading to less performance and in the long run to even more issues.

So the question is: How do we prevent this bolt from getting loose?

The first thing we need to do is really start prioritising sleep. We need to get a minimum of 6 hours of sleep and probably 7-9. Sleeping less will not mean you get to get more things done in a day because you have some extra hours. It will mean you are less productive, make more mistakes, really jeopardize your health and many more bad things.
So make sure to get enough and good sleep. Good sleep meaning a dark room, good humidity, a steady sleep schedule, etc.
For everything on sleep please check out this video:    • Why You MUST Prioritize Sleep

The next important thing is to realise that we were not made to be sitting the entire day. Our brain evolved while we were walking, moving etc. Going for a 20 minute walk will actually give you good focus for about 2 hours. And that investment of 20 minutes will give you an amazing return (you will get much more done).

The third thing I do is going to a physical therapist every single month. It is a check up to see if there is any tension in my body and then a sports massage to get rid of the tension and really to prevent injuries or even building up stress in the body.
After all preventing is so much better then curing.

The fourth important part is nutrition. By eating the right foods and drinking enough water, you will really see an improvement in focus, your sleep will improve, your health will improve and so many other great benefits.
Do some research or - if you can - find someone who is knowledgeable and ask them some questions about this.
Investing in this knowledge and getting it to a good level will be amazing as we are in this for the long run and not for a quick small win.

The fifth and very important next part will be meditation. Meditation will help prevent so much stress, it will stop you thinking about what if and so many other amazing benefits. Realising what is important to you and focusing on those things will have a major impact on your mental health.

The sixth and final thing is finding the proper balance and listening to your body. If you are super tired, take a break. If you don't feel well, don't push through but give your body and mind some rest so you can fix the problem once they occur rather then pushing through and waiting till the problems are too big to handle.
