👋 In todays video it is time to learn how to drive a manual transmission vehicle! This is something that just isn't taught like it should be and most people either don't know how or have never seen a manual vehicle. The manual transmission in my opinion is very fun and engaging once you get the hang of it and understand more about driving in one.
The hardest part with learning to drive a manual is the start. Balancing the clutch pedal and the gas to make a smooth transition from sitting still to underway. This is something that will need to be practiced a lot to become comfortable. I suggest learning to drive a manual in an empty parking lot or some large space with no cars to eliminate traffic so you can focus. Once the vehicle starts to move, shifting gears comes next. It's the same process as the start up, but you can start to move quick since the vehicle is already underway. The beauty with a manual transmission as well is that you can skip gears as well, so you don't have to go in order for upshifting or downshifting. That just depends on the situation that you are in!
There's a lot to learn about driving a manual transmission and the more you drive the more you will start to understand and have more fun behind the wheel!
From rev matching, to skipping gears, to letting the rpm go higher for some more sporty driving, it's certainly fun and also will allow you to drive some cars that are solely a manual! There are quite a lot of vehicles that aren't offered in an automatic, so if it's a car you want, you'll have to learn so you are ready! If I didn't know how to drive a manual, there would be a lot of vehicles that I have reviewed that I would have not been able too! I've been driving a manual since I was sixteen and am so glad I learned!
