To enhance its capacity and capability, plans are in the pipeline for the Guyana Police Force to establish a new air wing. Currently, two ranks of the Force are being trained as pilots in Miami while another two ranks are at the stage of completing their studies in the field of engineering. And, as part of efforts to improve its relationship between the public and its ranks, the Guyana Police Force is also working to establish a studio to boost its public relations drive. The facility will be used to produce radio programmes to highlight the work of the various sectors within the force.
