The Disney Pixar film, Luca, sure has caused a lot of discussion online about whether its characters are LGBT or not, with people adamant that their side is right. There are definitely some signs that point to it being a LGBTQ movie, for example comparisons to the queer film, Call Me by Your Name. Who gets to decide the meaning of a film like Luca though and whether characters in films are gay or not?
