The Janet Annenberg Hooker Hall of Geology, Gems and Minerals opened in 1997. Nearly 3,500 gems, minerals, rocks, and meteorites from the Museum’s collections are displayed in a total of seven Galleries. Walking through the Hall takes you on a journey from the center of the Earth to the vast reaches of the solar system.
