I fabricated the entire exhaust on my 62 galaxie. It seamed to work well, however I had this really annoying resonance drone in the 2000 RPM range. When I say resonance drone I mean at 2000 RPM the sound from the engine matched the frequency of the exhaust and it begins to vibrate and get louder and louder until I either power up or down out of the 2000 RPM range. Of course that is right where the engine wants to run (through shifting) when minimizing RPM but still maintaining power. I began doing research and found some good information that explained why this was happening and exactly how to fix it with a 1/4 wavelength resonator tube.
