Today's topic - Harf of Lightest Verb


So now today we will have to learn what is lightest Harf.

Before looking at lightest Verb, let's once again look at how Light Verb looks.

Present Tense Verbs Normaly are :

Aftahu
Taftahu
Taftaheena
Yaftahu
Taftahu

Naftahu
Taftahoona
Taftahna
Yaftahoona
Yaftahna

Light Verbs become :

Aftaha
Taftaha
Taftaheen
Yaftaha
Taftaha

Naftahu
Taftahoon
Taftahan
Yaftahoon
Yaftahan

And Lightest Verbs are like these:

Aftah اَفتَح
Taftah تَفتَح
Taftahee تَفتَي
Yaftah يَفتَح
Taftah تَفتَح

Naftah نَفتَح
Taftahoo تَفتَحواْ
Taftahan تَفتَحَن
Yaftahoo يَفتَحواْ
Yaftahan يَفتَحَن

Notice Taftahan & Yaftahan are same for Light & Lightest Verb. I pointed this out so you don't get confused later on.

Now Harf of Lightest Verb are 6 :

Lam = do not لَم
Lamma = when لَمَّا
In = If اِن
Li = must لِ
Fal = Let فَل
(Command)

• You would be wondering what is this Command, we will discuss in future.

So any of these Harf of Lightest Verb will make a Verb in the sentence become Lightest.
