"Paramount Animation Logo History" made by TR3X PR0DÚCTÍ0NS, 15/01/2023.
This history video looks at the logos from the cartoon department of Paramount Pictures, which lasted for four decades (1927-67). The productions from this department were released under Fleischer Studios (1929-42) and Famous Studios (1942-67). The founders of Fleischer Studios were Max Fleischer and Dave Fleischer; the former is remembered for creating Koko the Clown and Betty Boop, introducing them to the movie screen along with Popeye and Superman, and for inventing the rotoscope, stereoptical process and "follow the bouncing ball" technique. The founders of Famous Studios were Sam Buchwald, Seymour Kneitel and Isadore Sparber, three top employees from Fleischer Studios. The animation studio was renamed to Paramount Animation Studios in 1957, and in December 1967, the new owners of Paramount (Gulf+Western) begun the process of shutting down the animation studio. The last cartoon from Paramount Cartoon Studios, Mouse Trek (the finale of the Fractured Fables series), premiered on 31st December 1967. Paramount returned to animation several decades later, when Paramount Animation was founded by Brad Grey in July 2011. The animation division of Paramount Pictures have released a number of films since, and they are a subsidiary of Paramount Global. In clockwise direction, the thumbnail shows Popeye the Sailor, Betty Boop, Little Audrey and Little Lulu. Casper the Friendly Ghost is hiding behind the mountain, and thanks to my brother @omegafilmcorporation for helping me with the thumbnail.
