GE Refrigerator Water Dispenser Slow or No Flow

*PLEASE SUBSCRIBE* to my channel, that is the best way of saying thanks!!

This video addresses slow or no flow on the GE refrigerator water dispenser caused by a not-fully-actuating water manifold plunger. This was for the refrigerator model GSS23WGTA BB but its most likely applicable for many models. The replacement part is: WR17X20860 – MWF Manifold Tubes and Assembly.

In the video I mention "rigging it" with a washer... Its been so long and I believe I found the one that I originally custom made to fit... if this is it, it measures 29.35mm OD (about 13/16"in) and 14.1mm ID (~9/16in).Other people have been using a rubber garden hose washer. Hope that helps!

FYI Comment from R. Bremner: By the way, GE seems to have released an updated filter head to address this issue. For my fridge it is part #: WR17X20860. Also, be aware that the existing MWF filter may not fit, I was told the replacement is MWFP?
