RAF 216 Squadron was disbanded in March 2014, and the final Lockheed L1011 TriStar sortie took place on 24th March. This video captures the final sortie aboard ZD950, with ZD948 performing tanker refuelling duties alongside as we fly circuits over the North Sea. Four Eurofighter Typhoons and a single Tornado come along for some gas.
