Welcome to the Colorado adventure mini series. Stick around and follow my adventure through the Colorado mountains over a 3 day long trip and cresting 6 different peaks. This was the first day of the adventure and as we got into town we stopped in Telluride for a quick lunch break and made our way up the mountains to a place called Alta Lakes where we set up our Base Camp. Once we were set up we took off to the small mining village of Ophir and to my surprise there is still a small population occupying this small village. But nothing would prepare me for the breathtaking views from atop the mountains towering over this small mountain village!
