With the weekend of steam events coming to a closure for the 2024 Hunter Valley Steamfest, Steam Locomotive 6029 & 4201 would haul the last shuttle from Maitland to Newcastle and return, scene recorded showing 4201 leading 6029 down to Newcastle, then 6029 returning for the last run of the day as it passes through Waratah.
