In 2012 Jonathan Demme attended the 69th Venice Film Festival to present his latest documentary "Enzo Avitabile Music Life". We caught up with him to talk about the universal attraction of Neapolitan music, his role in making the film, why he loves documentaries, if he had plans for future movies and to give us the pesky "Channel ID" which he did with great humour. Following our conversation in 2006 this would sadly be the last time I had the opportunity to talk to him before he left us in 2017, his memory is indeed a blessing.
