We're using a stamp concrete overlay to repair this damaged concrete patio slab. Concrete overlays can be used for resurfacing damaged concrete or to resurface good concrete and change its appearance.
Today we're using Deco Crete Supply's stampable concrete overlay with the help of Tyler & Mike from Deco Crete.
We also have a couple guys here training to use a concrete overlay.
The original stamped concrete had some freeze & thaw damage which consisted of a lot of spalling of the surface.
I ground off all the soft, loose concrete back to hard dense concrete for the prep.
I cleaned and primed the surface and installed 3/8" thick overlay. Now we're at the point of finishing the surface with Ashlar stamps.
