Here is my first Menards grocery haul for our big family. My husband and I were talking about my dollar tree in Dollar General grocery haul and he said why don’t you do one at Menards.
I actually really like Menards because it has so many things and when they brought in food I was pretty excited about that because of course were there quite a bit to get things for the summer and then we’re doing things at the house so we have to get paint, and supplies for that. We also use them quite a bit for our business when we need lumber for our forms for pouring Slabs and I usually go there for flowers and plants when I’m bout to get my garden going.
I do notice that they normally have a lot of different foods on clearance and it’s not because they’re expiring but I just think they like to do that so they’re kind of competitive with the grocery stores. And recently I noticed that they added the fridges for dairy products. And some of them have a freezer for ice cream things like that.
So I had to take that challenge for my husband and try and do a regular grocery haul at Menards and I actually enjoyed it. They don’t have a lot of things but they have things that are essential and they also carry toiletries and cleaning products. I wish they had fresh veggies and fruits but maybe this is just a start and eventually looks band into that. So I did have to do another haul a little later for fruits and vegetables. But I enjoyed this is fun.
