Australian wine will soon be back on the shelves in China after Beijing lifted tariffs on the product. The harsh penalties were imposed in 2020 amid a diplomatic stoush between the two countries. The reversal of the tariffs is a huge win for the industry, which at its peak was exporting just over $1 billion dollars of wine to China a year. ABC's foreign affairs reporter Stephen Dziedzic says the news was expected.
