That said, I have specific preferences and needs in a new vehicle and with so many excellent truck options in America right now we're truly spoiled for choice. While it's not going to be the right fit for everyone, if you are looking for a solid V8 engine, an excellent ride, the best interior in the segment, and solid practical features, the RAM 1500 is the right truck for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for higher payloads, the latest towing tech, or the best small diesel, you'll find that in either the Chevy or the Ford.
