The transmission still slips between 1st and 2nd. Dodge wouldn't fix this under warranty.

This newer video better shows the problem the truck's been having. This is one of the latest surges which occurred directly after the truck's last service. The worst surge happened one day after I brought it back home. I wasn't expecting it, so didn't have my camera. The one shown in the video happened a day after the first, and was much milder. Since then, I've been getting surges not only on the first takeoff, but also on subsequent takeoffs from stop signs, and red lights, which is something new. Still, completely random. The problem became less frequent as the week went on, so I hope you can replicate this.

I read on a forum where a 2014 ram owner was having the same problem, and found it was a glitch in his hill start assist mode. He shut it off and the issue went away, however, I don't use the assist. I tried driving with it on and then off anyway. Made no difference, and still surged either way.

I first starting having this issue late last winter. When I'd leave my shop at night, it would slip sometimes. I assumed this was due to ice in my parking lot, that is, the tires spinning on ice for a second before getting traction on the road. However, as the weather warmed up, it kept this "slipping". That's when I realized it wasn't ice. It had about 59,000 miles at the time.

I don't know if this is related or not. Probably not, but I'm just throwing it out there. My usb connection in the console has been steadily getting worse since about 50,000 miles, and randomly disconnects my mp3 player from the radio. It usually does this on bumps, but not always. Sometimes it will just disconnect anytime, and give me a "file error", or switch to the radio, and won't reconnect the mp3 until I shut off the truck, and let it sit for a couple minutes. It's getting pretty bad, but I might attempt to fix myself since it's not under warranty. If I keep the truck, I might have a different stereo installed.
