With a large online following, and incredible success in the fashion industry, the Muslim model and influencer, Nawal Sari has learnt to embrace her identity and advocate for change. In this powerful and personal talk, Nawal shares how she navigates working with major brands like Nike, Gucci, Valentino and Fendi while staying true to her identity and values. Nawal Sari is a fashion and beauty influencer based in western Sydney, Australia. Her social media presence was built on mixing her rich culture and beliefs with her passion for creativity and redefining modest fashion. Being Muslim and wearing the Hijab, has influenced her to be expressive to her audience with acceptance, kindness and to be revolutionary, yet authentic in today’s society.
