We tested all 3 of these networks to see who does Plug & Charge the quickest - from plugging in to actually charging. While both Tesla Superchargers and Electrify America use the ISO 15118 Plug & Charge standard, EVgo uses a different method and calls it AutoCharge+. For the EV driver, it is basically the same, you plug in and in a few seconds the car starts charging.
We did not test a bunch of chargers, so these times can vary depending on a number of factors. But this is a real world test of 3 networks one right after the other.
