The $3.2 million zero-emission Croatian electric hypercar reportedly print from 0-60 miles/hour in 1.85 seconds on the way to a top speed of 258mph. The Rimac Nevera has been officially revealed, with near-mythical power and acceleration figures
Drive comes from four individual electric motors – one paired to each wheel – and these deliver a combined 1914 horsepower - 2360Nm to the road, allowing the 0-60 mph sprint to be conquered in a record-shattering 1.85 seconds. It will reportedly climb from stationary to 300km/h in just 9.3 seconds. For reference, the 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sport took 17.1 seconds to reach the same speed.
Voltage is drawn from a 120kWh lithium-manganese-nickel battery developed in-house and integrated into the floor of the carbon-fibre monocoque body. This allows for a claimed driving range of 547km between charges.
Priced from $3.2 million, and just 150 examples are reportedly slated for production. However, multiple other coachbuilders and manufacturers – including Pininfarina and potentially Bugatti – are building next-generation models underpinned by the Nevera platform.
