On January 10, 2023, we got to experience something that is fairly uncommon... Disneyland in a storm. And not just any storm, but reportedly the worst weather to hit California in the last twelve years. We start our tour walking down Main Street USA, where we get to admire the shops glistening in the rain. You may have noticed the Holiday decorations are still up during what should be the transitionary period, allowing us to enjoy them for just a bit longer. As we approach the castle we get to experience firsthand just how bad this storm really is, and you may catch glimpses of my umbrella being pulled into the air by the wind. We make our way towards Adventureland, fighting the sideways rain as we go along. Because of refurbishments in Indiana Jones, we are unable to pass through, so we double back and press onward through Frontierland. Here we take a moment to admire the raindrops hitting the Rivers of America, and we hope you enjoy this too. As we navigate through New Orleans Square and Critter Country, we are anxiously awaiting the immersive experience of entering Galaxy's Edge. There is just something about experiencing this land in the rain, and while the rain starts to ease up at this point, it's still a unique experience. We see less rain in Fantasyland and Tomorrowland, but the storm has left it's mark and the reflections of Disneyland on various puddles is a sight in itself.
