00:00 - Video starts
00:21 - Why you struggle with regulate emotions?
In this video, Dr. Suri explains why emotions are so hard to manage? He explains how thoughts and emotions work in your brain. Fear Mind is a concept where your brain tries to alert you to something unsafe in your environment. It's purpose is to keep you safe and communicate effectively with you, but when you are not intentional about paying attention to your inner world, you might react to this fear negatively. Such an emotional response can be exhausting but also dangerous as it triggers the chain of thoughts and emotions that take you in the direction you fear - what you wanted to avoid in the first place.

1:45 - What does it means to be emotionally stronger?
Being emotionally stronger means being able to maintain your calmness and composure, even in difficult situations. It also involves empathy to help others and emotional boundaries to protect your own emotions. There are four signs of emotional strength that are discussed in the video.

3:02- How to manage your emotions effectively?
The video explains how to train your mind to identify your emotional triggers that stop you from being grounded and calm. Identify these triggers and give them a name so you can externalize them - see them as something separate from you that you have to deal with and fight back, rather than something that's a part of you. This approach will help you better manage your feelings and emotions without exhausting yourself - and along the way, improve your emotional intelligence.
