Night flight of an MD500E helicopter from a private site in the west of England back to Denham airfield, London


Flight details below:
Transit through Brize Norton military airspace - Fairford overhead - to avoid an A400M and Chinook doing radar approaches - then direct trackto Denham, via Chalgrove. Benson MATZ was shut so some blind calls made on 120.90 MHz before transfer to Farnborough Radar (132.80Mhz) for a traffic Service. Change to Denham Radio (130.725mhz) near Amersham for join instructions at Maple Cross- Runway 24.
As a quiet night, only one R44 in the circuit doing night training and a light aircraft taxing out.
