April 14 2024 Coast Guard Rescues 6 Freeport TX from sinking boat.
HOUSTON — The Coast Guard rescued six people from a vessel that was taking on water 7 miles offshore Freeport, Texas, Sunday.

Coast Guard Sector Houston-Galveston watchstanders received a report from bystanders on shore at 12:24 p.m. stating a 20-foot pleasure craft was taking on water with six people aboard.

Watchstanders issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a 45-foot Response Boat–Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Freeport to respond. At 1:12 p.m., the RB–M crew arrived on scene, embarked the boaters, and safely transferred them to Bridge Bait.
Galveston Tx Man fail and injured his leg and back on North Jettie was rescued by Coast Guard Houston MH-65. and transported for medical treatment.

Coast Guard medevacs U.S. passenger from Disney cruise ship 180 miles northwest of Puerto Rico A Coast Guard MH-60T Jayhawk helicopter aircrew conducted a medevac for a Disney Fantasy cruise ship passenger, Monday, in the Atlantic Ocean 180 miles northwest of Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.

The medevac patient was a 35-year-old pregnant woman, U.S. citizen, who experienced health complications and required a higher level of medical care ashore. Video source (US Coast Guard).
