- First French Humanitarian Association to Sponsor Tibetan Refugees

Tibetan Child Aid (AET) was created in 1981 by Annie Sudra, the first French humanitarian association to sponsor Tibetan refugees and has more than 3,000 sponsors for 3,240 sponsorships.

Since 1981, AET has supported Tibetan refugees in India , Nepal and Bhutan and partnered with the TCV and Central Tibetan Administration to improve their living conditions as refugees in India, with the aim of helping Tibetans preserve their culture in exile.
