In this vlog, I'm sharing a bunch of tips for the most affordable trip to Napa Valley in California. This area is known for being very pricy but you can do it on a budget if you're willing to travel in January or February. These winter months are still extremely beautiful in wine country but it costs a fraction of what you'd spend in other seasons. It is well worth the trip since there are far fewer visitors, it's much easier to get the reservations you want and there's no traffic. Here are some ways you can save, no credit card or travel points needed:
~ Wine passports, these are offered only in the winter and for a flat price you are able to getting tastings at a variety of different wineries. Some passports also include offers for restaurants, local shops, and hotels.
~ Hotel special packages, check the specials/sale/packages pages of hotels for some amazing deals including some exclusively for California residents.
~ Restaurant Week, California celebrates Restaurant Month in January. It's a promo put on by Visit California. Most cities in California offer a Restaurant Week sometime in January. You can often find very nice restaurants that will offer a 3 course meal for around $50 which is a steal in the Napa Valley.
