Born Jeanette Helen Morrison on July 6, 1927, in Merced, California, Leigh would rise to become one of Hollywood's most beloved and iconic actresses.

Leigh's journey to stardom began with a chance encounter that would change her life forever. Discovered by actress Norma Shearer, Leigh was signed to a contract with MGM and began her acting career in the late 1940s.

In 1951, Leigh achieved widespread recognition with her breakout role in "Angels in the Outfield," followed by memorable performances in films such as "The Naked Spur" and "Touch of Evil." Yet, it was her unforgettable performance as Marion Crane in Alfred Hitchcock's "Psycho" that would solidify her status as a Hollywood legend.
