While we were inside of a 7/11 store at E. 18th St & Palm Ave, a 24-year-old female approached us and asked us for help. She was distraught, shaking, and crying.

She asked us to help get her out of the area. We asked her what was wrong and she said he was raped by 7 men in the apartment complex next door.
We told the clerk to call the Police Police immediately and put the woman inside the store’s restroom and told her to lock the door.

Officers arrived and questioned her. She was offered help by one of the males and he drove her from San Diego to the apartment in National City.
She said she was from Florida and here in California alone.

While in the apartment, she alleges that 7 men attacked and gang-raped her.
She apparently waited for the men to fall asleep and made her escape from the apartment.

In our opinion, she did not appear to be a prostitute, homeless, or under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Paramedics were called and she was taken to a local hospital.

The officers went to the apartment and pulled 4 adult males. The males were questioned and Detectives are on their way to further the investigation.
