JUDY LUDY AND PUPPET COOK! EP 4 || Negroni Cocktail

This episode begins with Puppet recovering from a hangover, while Judy crafts the classic and sophisticated Negroni cocktail.

Much like the Aperol Spritz, this classic is part of the aperitif family but uses CAMPARI vs APEROL.

The difference being CAMPARI is the bitter cousin to the sweeter APEROL.

Recipe is simple and classic: 1:1:1: meaning 1 part Gin, 1 part CAMPARI, 1-part sweet vermouth, no matter if you are measuring in ounces or cups.

It’s the perfect pre-dinner choice to stimulate the appetite and prepare for a delicious meal!

SHOPPING AND RECIPE GUIDE

1 bottle CAMPARI
A good dry Gin (Bombay Sapphire was used in this demonstration)
Sweet Vermouth
Ice
Blood oranges for garnish
Martini Shaker
Chilled Old Fashioned Rocks Cocktail Glass

CRAFTING THE COCKTAIL
STEP 1: GATHER THE INGREDIENTS
1 part CAMPARI
1 part Gin
1 part Sweet Vermouth

STEP 2: MIX
Add CAMPARI, Gin and sweet vermouth to cocktail sharker filled with ice.
Shake for 30 seconds
Strain into chilled Old Fashioned Rocks Cocktail glass filled with 1 large designer piece of ice

THE GADABOUT (Puppet’s non-alcoholic drink)
1 oz Grenadine
8 oz Ginger Beer
Maraschino Cherry with Stems for garnish

Add Grenadine to a chilled Old Fashioned Rocks Cocktail Glass, Ginger Beer, top with cherry, and enjoy!
